SiriusXM’s annual revenues up 35% in 2019
SiriusXM posted its 2019 earnings, showing significant growth over last year, since the acquisition of Pandora.
Operating and financial results show revenue of $2.1 billion and $7.8 billion respectively, increasing 38% and 35% over the previous period last year.
SiriumXM CEO Jim Meyer, claims this is in part due to the acquisition of Pandora this time last year.
Outside of Pandora, The SiriusXM platform has seen growth. With reports of 1.1 million net new self-pay-subscribers in 2019, for a total of close to 30 million self-pay subscribers. Along with 870,000 net subscriber additions, over 34.9 million total SiriusXM subscribers at the end of 2019.
