Artists upload FLAC FREE to top streaming services and stores on RouteNote
Break the boundaries and send your music out into the world in it’s finest possible form, with free FLAC uploads to the top stores and streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, and many more.
We are taking away the restrictions for high quality music uploads and making FLAC uploads to the biggest services absolutely free. Uploading in high quality FLAC has until now been reserved for Premium releases but we felt that all of our users deserve to give their listeners the finest possible experience of their music.
We want to set your music free of constrictions and give the world the best possible experience of your work. As well as making FLAC uploads free for everyone we have upgraded our upload tool so that the minimum bits per sample for MP3 is 320kbps. This improves the quality for you and also makes it more likely that your music will spread through our partners onto the full Asian music market.
With these exciting new updates comes a sleek new look for our upload tool which makes getting your music onto the world’s biggest streaming services and download stores a breeze. We have also fixed a bunch of bugs that could occur during upload to assure you have the smoothest experience getting your music out into the world.
We love bringing new opportunities to artists and free FLAC uploads is something we’ve been very excited to reveal to you. We hope you love this as much as we do and we can’t wait to hear your high quality music, now on Free Distribution.
Hello there,
I’ve tried to upload a song of mine in FLAC format, but the load progress bar shows up as 80% complete, even though all 54.2MB of the file was uploaded. I’ve clicked the ‘Save and Continue’ button multiple times but the form doesn’t progress to the next stage. I was wondering if this is a bug in the software. Because of it, I cannot upload a high quality FLAC file to be sent to stores and streaming services. Could you please solve this problem for me and everyone else who also comes across this problem?
Thanks in advance.
Hey Pivotex,
I’ve passed your details on to the team so they can investigate and resolve the issue. Hopefully this will be fixed very soon.
Regards,
Jacca
Hey Jacca,
Sometime ago, i tried uploading a track; and i was told that the backing track had a watermark and that i needed to provide ownership proof. And i did.
I want to upload a track now, and the backing track also has a watermark…..is there any way that i can provide this during the upload, so i won’t have to go through that again. Hope you reply.
Thank you.
Hi Andrew, if you send us an email at moderation@routenote.com with the UPC of your release and your proof of ownership attached once your release has been created we should be able to verify that for you in advance.
Hi Pivotex,
It happened to me too but it’s not a mistake, you have to wait a few minutes for the server to process the track and tell you 100%.
Greetings,
Santiago from Eurocase Records
I have added 3 songs already but under the songs added it just says one, the songs appear in the draft release but i don’t know why it says 1.
Hey, If they’re appearing in draft then that means the release is unfinished. If you select the releases that say draft then it will show you the sections you need to fill in and will have a tick or a cross next to each part to let you know whether they are completed or need something else before they can be uploaded to moderation.
Hi my name is FRANCIS and I want to sell some of my lyrics can you please help me.
Hi,
Nice to see.
Routenote hasn’t all world languages, how to select language of song not included in list, like Marathi of India.
Hi Poonam, I’m afraid that the languages available currently are all we plan to have available for the near future.
If I upload in FLAC to Routenote will that be the only available format in the online stores or will song be converted to mp3 for distribution also from the FLAC file?
Hi Art, if you upload in FLAC then it will be available only as FLAC in all FLAC compatible stores. Only Anghami and YouTube Content ID will change your release to MP3, and iTunes converts audio to WAV.
