A new Spotify for Podcasters app offers creators total control over their content wherever they are, tracking and growing on the move.

A brand new app is expanding the scope for podcasters large and small. It brings with it a new level of control over content whilst on the go with the ability to track the success of each episode from anywhere.

Millions of listeners tune in to Spotify every day for podcasts. They are home to podcasts top creators like the Joe Rogan Experience and even host over 250,000 video podcasts. Spotify’s revamped app serves the thousands of podcast creators on their platform with lots of new features.

With the addition of comments to Spotify podcasts this month, creators can now view new comments from their app and reply on the go. Creators will also receive notification of reaching major milestones, like landing on Spotify’s charts or hitting a new level of viewership.

Creators can choose which comments appear from their app. Podcasters can easily manage whether they want comments enabled on their episodes or on their entire show.

The Comments tab in the Podcasters app allows creators to:

  • Approve, like, and reply to comments that are ready for your review
  • See published comments sorted by your most recent episode
  • Delete or report comments and block users
  • Enable or disable comments for your entire show or specific episodes

The new app offers detailed analytics that allow creators to dive deep inside how each episode is performing. The app also provides insights as to who their audience are and where they’re being discovered, so that creators can optimise their content for the audience that appreciates them the most.

The new app also gives creators control to manage how their shows appear, so that when inspiration strikes they’re not caught short without a PC.

The new Spotify for Podcasters app is available now on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
