Apple want to get PlayStation players streaming music, partnering with Sony to give players an exclusive Apple Music offer.

Apple are offering owners of the Sony PlayStation 5 console 6 months free premium music streaming. PlayStation users on the PS5 can now get 6 months of Apple Music at no cost.

New users to Apple Music will get six months free access to unlimited, ad-free music streaming with offline listening. Users who have subscribed to “Apple Music” in the past and “qualify” to return under the deal get five months free.

The offer is available in 68 countries and is available until 15th November, 2024. You’ll need an account for PlayStation Network and an Apple ID to make use of the offer.

How to redeem your offer:

  1. Find the Apple Music app from your PS5 console’s search bar, or find it under “All apps” in Media home.
  2. Download and open the Apple Music app and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID or create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one.
  4. Enjoy up to 6 months of Apple Music at no extra cost.

Apple Music is one of only three apps available on the PS5. The others are the YouTube app where users can search for music content and Spotify.
