Deezer have just announced the launch of their new widget player. It allows website’s to embed a music player streaming tracks and podcasts form Deezer’s huge library into their pages for visitors to tune in to. Great for any website hosts who want to bring some more entertainment to their sites, but especially brilliant for artists who want to share their music as it’s available of Deezer with any website visitors.

It’s as simple as deciding the content you want to share – whether it’s an album, playlist, or a podcast series – and then copying the URL from Deezer and placing it here: widget.deezer.com. You can change the size of the player to suit your website and control how the background design looks to make the perfect player for your site. If you’re using Deezer on the web it’s as simple as clicking the ‘Share’ button on the right.

The player will play either up to 30 seconds in preview of a track, or if it’s a podcast listeners can tune in to the whole thing. If listeners are a Deezer user themselves then they can favourite tracks straight from the widget and into their library so that when they’re back in the full player, they can carry on the party.
