Pitbull will livestream pay-per-view concerts with LiveXLive

After a multi-year deal was signed, international superstar Pitbull will soon start livestreaming paid events and vodcasts with the help of livestreaming and on-demand media platform LiveXLive.

With the pandemic continuing to cancel and postpone gigs around the world, Pitbull becomes the latest artist to embrace online streaming via a partnership with LiveXLive. Pitbull will live stream four weekly concerts from the 12 September for $9.99 per stream. Revenue will be generated through ticket sales as well as VIP, merchandise, meet & greets and subscriptions.

Streams will be available on the LiveXLive site and apps. Video podcasts will be distributed through LiveXLive owned platform PodcastOne.

Pre-lockdown, LiveXLive had already gained over 1.2 million monthly users for their live music events.

Podcasts and podcast clips are coming to Facebook next week

According to an email from Facebook, podcasts will start making their way onto the social platform next week.
