LiveXLive launch their new audio, video, podcast and live streaming app to smart TVs
The app is released in the US and Canada on Samsung TV, Apple TV, Roku and coming to Amazon Fire soon.
With over 90 million consumers streaming their songs, shows and podcasts LiveXLive Media offers artists “an end-to-end music platform for creating, curating, promoting, and distributing content, while gaining valuable data & insights and new monetization opportunities from their social media followers, viewers and performances”.
Programming on LiveXLive includes celebrity and story-driven podcasts, original interviews and news shows, with their flagship show LiveZone. Audio playlists and live stream events include artists such as Green Day, Selena Gomez, Lizzo, John Legend, Paul McCartney, The Rolling Stones, Big Gigantic, Elohim, Lauv, Lil Baby, lovelytheband, Trippie Redd and Whipped Cream
The LiveXLive app is supported by audio advertising, brand integration and sponsorships.
Samsung TV currently hold around 33% of the total market share for Smart TVs in the US. Amazon Fire TV reported over 40m user in Q4 2020, Roku had 39.8m active users in Q1 2020 and Apple report 33m active users of Apple TV+.
This is an opportunity for us to create dominance in this arena and as Smart TV ad delivery for audio and video formats improves, we’ll be well-positioned to capitalize on that inventory opportunity long term.
