How much does it cost to distribute music to streaming stores?
Using our free plan, distribution with RouteNote is free of monthly payments or one time fees. The artist keep 85% of the revenue generated from stores and streaming services. RouteNote Premium allows artists to keep 100% of the revenue for a small fee. We never lock in musicians, you can freely move your music between plans.
How long does moderation take?
As long as your release is formatted correctly, there are no copyright errors and the music sounds good, we’ll approve it. Current moderation times can be found in this blog article.
After approval how long until it starts showing on stores?
After approval, our content teams will push your music to the correct stores. Most major stores such as Apple Music/iTunes, Spotify and YouTube Music will publish your music within 5 days of approval.
When will I start seeing statistics and royalties?
Earning reports and payment are made directly into your RouteNote account around 45 days after the close of the month. This means payment usually appears between the 15th and 20th of each month. Once you’ve hit the $50 minimum theshold or you choose to close your profile, payment is sent to your PayPal account.
