How to Get My Music on Spotify for FREE

There are millions of users all over the world who are already using Spotify. If you dont already know, Spotify is a music streaming service, which allows users to create playlists and listen to tracks from millions of artists worldwide. Previously, it hasnt been very easy to get your music on Spotify and as they are about to launch in the USA it is now very important to join the leading music service.

RouteNote allows artists to get their music onto Spotify and other streaming music services for FREE. All artists need to do is head to RouteNote.com and signup for an account. Once you have signed up, you are able to upload your music and choose the partners you would like to send your music to. Its that easy!

There are so many other music distributors out there that charge artists a lot of money for this service, plus most also charge per store. RouteNote is the ONLY distributor that doesnt charge any upfront fees!

Spotify and other streaming services are very important for artists. These services dont currently make artists huge amounts of revenues (unless you have millions of plays). These services are used more for promotion and as the internet progresses these service will make a lot more money and it will become the main revenue stream for artists (just my opinion).

Anyways, make sure you head to RouteNote.com and signup! Its that easy!

If i uploa a song and it blows up, eill i be able to take it down and release it again on anoher service where i make can make more money

Hey, yes we certainly do! You can upload your music to all the top stores and streamers for free. We will never change our free distribution 🙂

Your music will earn revenue from each stream and then those streams will be added to your analytics each month. You’ll receive payment when your earnings reach our threshold of $50.

Yes of course! You keep 85% of all of the money that you make when you upload for free.
We also offer Premium distribution where you can keep 100% of all of your profits for a small upfront cost when you upload your music.

After doing the math, it makes sense to go premium only if you expect more than at least 100$ in sales from your album or compilation. Then it’s absolutely worth it!

Nice work Routenote! We hope u’re able to keep improvising, specially the content on this blog needs a much more user friendly interface. secondly, please find a way to do something DIFFERENT in 2019. How about find artists and labels find a way to build a legacy?

Hey, we provide YouTube Content ID powers for music and we now deliver to Facebook for their similar system.

Hey Darryl, once your music has been uploaded it will go into pending moderation where our team will look at it to make sure it’s okay before sending it to stores. This can take up to a week. If you have any concerns about your release you can get in touch at support@routenote.com.

OK… Is it just a service that helps artists to publish their music on the Spotify? Is there any way to download/purchase Spotify songs? I have the premium but it is impossible to really own the Spotify tracks unless to convert the Spotify tracks via a converter like Audfree, etc., which is the way I am using. But I still want to find a more direct way to get Spotify downloads easier.

Hi Yuki, you cannot legally download music from Spotify except to play on your devices offline using the Spotify app. To download music to keep you can often find them on stores like iTunes, Amazon and Google Play where you can purchase them to keep.

Yes, you will receive 85% of all the earnings your music makes when you distribute for free or you have the choice to pay for Premium and keep 100% of the money your music earns online.

Hi Aahika, it’s as simple as signing up to RouteNote with your free account, creating a new release and then uploading your music and inputting the details of the release. Make sure to select Spotify from the Manage Stores section and then if we approve it, your music will be sent to Spotify ASAP.
