EDM Continues To Expand On YouTube
EDM’s still going strong on YouTube. According to new stats released by Google, gathering up the nine most viewed Electronic Dance Music tracks of the past year, between them give a total of 2.3 billion views. Google found a 60% growth on the genre within smartphones, 77% on televisions, and 175% on gaming devices.
Demographic shows EDM is still the most strong with those under 25, but interestingly the biggest growth has been with the 25-34 age group, and even those older between 35 and 49 grew 80%. See the full list of EDM statistics bellow.
