Apple Music launch a Disney hub full of playlists, albums and stations
Apple Music gets a new home for all of their Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars soundtracks, playlists and radio stations.
“Celebrate the timeless legacy of Disney with this unique collection of playlists, radio stations, and soundtracks. From enchanted forests to galaxies far, far away, discover the magic of all your Disney favorites, including Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and many more!”
Apple and Disney’s history goes way back, with Steve Jobs as the largest single shareholder and Disney’s Executive Chairman Bob Iger who was an Apple board member until last year, due to conflict between new streaming services Disney+ and Apple TV+. However, Apple and Disney seem to be back on good terms as Apple recently started selling 4K Disney films and now the Disney hub full of music on Apple’s streaming platform.
The new Disney hub hosts over 30 playlists such as Marvel Complete Cinematic Universe, Star Wars: Skywalker Saga, Disney+, Disney Channel Hits, Disney Pixar Hits, many original soundtrack albums and Disney Radio stations. The hub also features a recent show from Apple Music Radio – Disney Hits Radio with favourite Disney songs alongside interviews with composer Alan Menken, Mulan soundtrack singer Christina Aguilera, Moana singer Auli’i Cravalho and The Little Mermaid singer Jodi Benson.
Spotify users needn’t feel left out, with the dedicated Disney genre on the streaming service.
