Amazon have partnered with music streaming service Anghami to offer new and existing Prime members with six months of free Anghami Plus.

Anghami offers listeners in the Middle East and North Africa Arabic and international music to stream. Much like Spotify Premium, Anghami Plus is a subscription service that enables on-demand music, offline mode, no ads and more, for $4.99 per month. Priced at AED/SAR 16 per month, Amazon Prime offers subscribers free next day delivery, TV and movie streaming service Prime Video, and more. The two companies are now bundling six months of Anghami Plus for new and existing Prime members in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, followed by 50% off the subscription fee for the next six months, then a regular $4.99 subscription unless cancelled.

To access the promotion, sign up to Amazon Prime if you haven’t already got a subscription (Saudi Arabia link, UAE link) and sign up for a free Anghami account if you don’t already have one. Head to, login with your Anghami account, link your Amazon Prime account, then add a payment method. You will be charged in six months unless you decide to cancel before the end of the free period.

This is an interesting offer from Amazon as Anghami Plus competes with their music streaming service, however Amazon Music Unlimited is not yet available in either of the two markets. This isn’t the first six-month free offer with Amazon Prime we’ve seen. A couple of months ago, Amazon Prime bundled six months of Disney+ for free in the US, which competes with Prime Video.

We are continuously looking for ways to make Prime members’ lives easier, better and more fun every day with Amazon Prime. This collaboration with Anghami is a perfect example of how we work together with leading local brands to innovate on members’ behalf, offering them the best experience possible. We’re excited to see Prime members in both Saudi Arabia and the UAE enjoy Anghami Plus and all it has to offer, alongside other shopping, savings and entertainment benefits already included in their membership.

Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President, Amazon Middle East and North Africa

As the leading music streaming platform of the region which gives users access to over 57 million Arabic and international songs, we are extremely excited to offer Anghami with Prime memberships across Saudi Arabia and the UAE through this exclusive deal. Prime members in both countries now have the opportunity to stream and download the best tunes in the region, in addition to podcasts, and live radio, completely free of charge for six months with an additional 50% discount for the next six months. We are making it easier than ever for music lovers to get fully immersed in the world of Anghami Plus.
