Alpine Headphones – Bringing Headphones To 2014
Alpine have been giants in the car audio industry for a long time now. With the release of their new headphones, this sees the company dip it’s toes into other areas. The new Alpine Headphones are the first of their kind.
“Typical standard headphone drivers simply cannot move enough air to create an immersive low frequency experience without damaging your ears.”
With a unique transducer in the headband, this gives an extra dimension to your music. The transducer aims to enhance the bass end of your track, by slightly shaking within the headband, you won’t feel this on your head, instead it will give the illusion of very low frequencies coming from the ear cups. The feature can easily be turned off, depending on the type of music you’re listening to.
The free Alpine iPhone app will analysis and order your musics energy level and deliver well mixed sounds.
The transducer and bluetooth technology will need charging. With a 10 hour battery, this should keep you going through the day, but there’s always an audio jack for conventional listening.
These things look beautiful too! A unique design, matte plastic and glossy metallic copper or white exterior, swivelling and adjustable ear cups, soft and comfortable headband, all add to the look and feel of the product.
In the box you’ll find a soft travel pouch to keep the headphones clean and scratch free, braided audio cable with in-line microphone and remote for taking calls and changing track, and a standard Micro USB charger.
The headphones can be found in the Apple Store for US$299
