Earlier this year, the RouteNote Sessions team had the privilege of filming Tropical Pressure 2023. What has been named the ‘best small UK music festival, Tropical Pressure brings together an incredible union of musicians from across the globe.

The incredible artist came to Cornwall’s Tropical Pressure from Buenos Aires. Bringing serious grooves from her backing band, the artist took no time to get the crowd jumping with her music. Combining soul, jazz, and hip-hop, she gives plenty to bop to.

RouteNote Sessions at Tropical Pressure

The Sessions team have been lucky enough to join the fun at Tropical Pressure for a few years on the trot now. After the virus-which-must-not-be-named put things on hold for a bit, we got to come back to the festival of world music in style for 2023.

Tropical Pressure is a unique highlight of artists around the globe. Its 3 days each celebrate a different territory, covering: Latin America, Africa, and the Caribbean. The atmosphere is bolstered by wonderful food, unique stalls, hidey-holes full of secrets, and perhaps most importantly – an adoring crowd there to have the time of their lives.
