Baby Audio has teamed up with infamous YouTuber and musician Andrew Huang to create “Transit”, a semi-modular multi-FX plugin that aims to simplify the process of designing unique transitions for music producers.

Transit is a simple solution for crafting transitions by bringing 18 versatile effect modules together in an intuitive user interface. These modules can be loaded across seven slots, providing producers with a flexible canvas to craft intricate transitions with ease.

The plugin boasts a Transition Control, a single macro knob that governs up to seven different effects simultaneously. Each effect module contains its own set of four macros and a high level of parameter customization. As a result, producers can shape dynamic musical transitions, evolving build-ups, drops, motion effects, risers, and sweeps easily.

Furthermore, the plugin’s repertoire includes modulation effects, distortion and degradation options, motion FX, reverb, filters, delay, and even oscillators and noise for signal generation. Ultimately, the focus of the plugin is musical transitions and each algorithm is consequently tuned to deliver swift results.

With its Transition Control mode, Transit gives you versatile control options with an automatable macro controller with visual feedback. Meanwhile, the Motion Sequencer mode empowers you to create transitions synchronized to the tempo of your DAW as transitions begin precisely at the next bar.

Equally cool is the plugin’s Loop mode, adding an extra layer of versatility by allowing transitions to pulse back and forth indefinitely which makes for head-bopping rhythmic patterns.

Finally, Transit comes loaded with over 300 presets that cater to a diverse array of musical styles, and you can save your own than to the built-in preset storage. Additionally, the randomization engine can randomize individual modules or entire signal chains with the option to lock specific areas.
