From global superstars to era-defining hits, Spotify marks 20 years by unveiling its top 20 most streamed music, podcasts, and audiobooks.

Spotify has turned 20! To celebrate, Spotify is diving into the data that marks two decades of listening on its platform.

For the first time ever, Spotify has revealed its all-time most streamed artists, songs, albums, podcasts, and audiobooks. The data, accurate as of April 2026, highlights the tracks, projects, and voices that have, and continue to captivate millions of fans worldwide.

There’s no major surprises at the top, with all artists on the list being global superstars. Taylor Swift tops the list, followed by Bad Bunny (#2), Drake (#3), The Weeknd (#4), and Ariana Grande (#5).

Sitting at number one is “Blinding Lights” by The Weeknd, which has close to 5.4 billion streams at the time of writing. The 2020 classic is followed by “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran (#2), “Sweater Weather” by The Neighbourhood (#3), “Starboy” by The Weeknd and Daft Punk (#4), and “As It Was” by Harry Styles (#5).

Spotify introduced audiobooks into users’ personalised Wrapped experience for the first time last year after it launched as a Premium benefit in 2023.
