TikTok and Cameo have partnered to make selling personalised videos an option directly on TikTok.

TikTok has announced a new way for creators to earn money, this time by focusing on more personal fan interactions. Through a new partnership with Cameo, creators in the US can now sell customised video messages directly within the app.

Cameo is a platform where fans pay for short, personalised videos from creators, celebrities, and other public figures. Prices typically start at around $25, making it an accessible option for fans who want something unique. As Music Business Worldwide reports, TikTok’s integration brings this experience into its own platform, removing the need for users to go elsewhere.

Creators can now sign up to Cameo without leaving TikTok as well. Once they are set up, they can add custom call-to-action buttons to their videos, allowing fans to request personalised content directly from the post they are watching. There is also a search function within TikTok, so users can browse creators offering Cameo videos by simply searching for the feature.

This move is all about making fan engagement more direct and meaningful. TikTok has been increasingly focused on giving creators tools that strengthen their relationship with their audience while opening up new income streams.

“Empowering creators with tools to build deeper relationships with their community in an authentic way is at the core of what we do at TikTok,” said Franklin Ramirez, TikTok’s Director of Global Product Partnerships. “The new Cameo integration brings highly personalized experiences directly into TikTok, giving creators another way to connect one-on-one with their communities and monetize their content.”

The partnership also reflects how well personalised content is already performing. Cameo’s CEO, Steven Galanis, noted that TikTok creators are playing a growing role on the platform, with strong results over the past year. As highlighted in TikTok’s announcement, this integration is designed to make it easier for creators to grow their business and reach fans in a more engaging way.

Galanis said, “Creators are at the heart of everything we do at Cameo, and TikTok creators have become an essential part of our community. Cameo videos regularly go viral on TikTok, showing the power of authentic fan connections and the appetite for personalized content.”

He continued, “TikTok talent delivered its strongest year yet on Cameo in 2025, and by integrating directly into TikTok and making onboarding even easier, we are giving creators a simpler way to grow their business, deepen audience engagement, and unlock new revenue opportunities.”

As MBW notes, this update is part of a wider push from TikTok to expand its ecosystem. In recent months, the platform has introduced features that connect music discovery with streaming services, including integrations that let users play full songs or save songs directly to their preferred apps. All of this from TikTok with the aim of keeping users engaged within its platform for longer.

By adding Cameo into the mix, TikTok is continuing to build an environment where creators can not only reach audiences but also monetise them in multiple ways. Personalised content, in particular, is becoming more valuable as fans look for deeper and more direct connections. For creators, this is another reminder that building a loyal audience can open up more than one revenue stream. It is not just about streams or views anymore, but about offering experiences that fans are willing to pay for.
