Take your favourite classical tunes with you on the go with Apple Music Classical’s dedicated car player coming to CarPlay.

Classical lovers will rejoice at the news that Apple Music Classical is being added to CarPlay. Until now, only Apple Music has been available in CarPlay’s interface, limiting listeners to accessing classical tunes through the main app.

With the addition of Apple Music Classical, users can access their library, playlists, and other tailored recommendations from their defined classical platform. Apple Music Classical is Apple’s dedicated music streaming service for classical music, built around how complicated the credits on classical music can be with multiple artists and detailed titles.

CarPlay users will be able to use Siri to search for composers, artists, works, and instruments with their voice. Apple Music Classical is free for unlimited streaming for Apple Music subscribers, and can be downloaded by CarPlay users.

Apple have recently updated Apple Music Classical with a Top 100 chart updated weekly, a Recently Added section, and thousands of album booklets.
