The biggest highlights of 2025 Wrapped for Artists

Each year, we get to check out the familiar share cards we know and love, and again, there are some new goodies thrown in for this year.

Super listeners

One of this year’s biggest additions is the introduction of super listeners. These are your monthly active listeners who streamed your music more than anyone else.

Wrapped now tells you:

  • When your super listeners reached their peak
  • How significant and impactful their listening was to your total overall streams

These more detailed data points give you a clearer picture of the fans who stayed closest to your music throughout the year.

A spotlight on albums

For the first time, Spotify Wrapped highlights the albums your fans kept returning to. Artists can now see which of their albums remained in their fans’ rotation, demonstrating where fans turned when they just couldn’t get enough.

For artists who favour long-form projects, and who are looking to drive deeper listening, this insight will be incredibly valuable.

Accolades for tracks beyond the hits

Wrapped for Artists 2025 celebrates the tracks listeners turned to “more than expected”. These might not be your biggest singles, but they’re the songs that became important in certain moments, moods, or contexts.

These tracks are the unsung (until now) heroes, that fans found exactly when they needed them. Another valuable insight that will feel like gold dust when it comes to future playlist pitching.

Clubs

Remember listening personalities back in Wrapped 2022? Well, this year, Spotify has added a playful twist by grouping all artists and listeners into “Clubs”, each with its own unique and distinct personality. Artists can find out which Club their music belongs to, with examples including “The Party Starter” and “The Early Riser”.

This adds an extra layer of identity and community within Wrapped and Spotify generally, allowing you to understand where you, as an artist, fit within the wider music landscape.


Share cards for every data story

As always, artists can pick and choose which insights to share with fans. As you probably know by now, each data story comes with its own visual share card, translated into 27 languages, making it easy to connect with your audience all around the globe.

These cards are perfect for social media sharing, helping you highlight the moments that mattered most – super listeners, album performance, surprise favourites, and more.


Wrapped Clips

This year, every artist on Spotify had the option to upload a Wrapped Clip on the platform.

More than 70,000 artists uploaded short videos thanking fans, celebrating milestones, or teasing what’s to come. These Clips appeared right inside top listeners’ feeds and Wrapped stories.

Wrapped for Songwriters returns

Wrapped for Songwriters is also back for 2025, giving writers their own dedicated space to look back on the year.
