What currency do I get paid in with RouteNote?
Receive your RouteNote earnings in your local currency when you choose bank transfer as your payment option.
Earnings on your RouteNote account are shown in dollars, however the currency sent to you depends on your payment method. There are two ways to withdraw your payments from RouteNote: PayPal or bank transfer.
When you choose PayPal, funds are transferred in US dollars. You need to ensure your account is set up to receive USD and business transactions.
When you choose bank transfer, via TransferWise or Payoneer, funds are transferred in your local currency.
To receive your RouteNote payments via bank transfer, please fill in this form.

What does “business transactions” mean in this paragraph:
“When you choose PayPal, funds are transferred in US dollars. You need to ensure your account is set up to receive USD and business transactions.”
Does it mean that the PayPal account must be of Business type and not of Personal account type?
Best Regards
You must ensure that your PayPal is set up to receive and accept USD payments – this is something that you may have to set up as this does not come as a standard on all PayPal accounts, depending on the territory you are based in.
We also recommend verifying your PayPal account – to get verified, go to your account to add and confirm your bank account or, if you prefer, add and confirm your debit or credit card. For help with this, head here:

Accounts can be configured to accept USD by navigating to the ‘Wallet’ section of the desktop version on the site; underneath the current balance of the account is an ‘Add Currency’ button. USD can be added here.
Finally, limited PayPal accounts may have restrictions on receiving payments. For more information, please refer to the guide from PayPal linked below:
