Meta has just updated their text-based social media app, making switching profiles just a double tap away.

Added last week, you can now switch profiles on the Threads mobile app without needing to logout and back in.

To get started, simply long press on your profile icon in the bottom right corner, then tap Add profile. Once you’ve logged into your secondary account, all you’ll need to do is double tap your profile icon to switch back and forth, just like on Instagram.

This marks yet another feature, bringing Threads more in line with competitor Twitter. There are still a handful for features that we’re waiting for that Threads has either confirmed they’re working on or code has been found in the back end of the app, such as an edit button, post scheduling, hashtags, translation, access in the EU and account deletion, without also deleting your Instagram profile.
