Students can sign up to Deezer Premium for half the price of regular subscriptions via their new partner, UNiDAYS.

Music streaming service Deezer have partnered with the world’s largest student discount website UNiDAYS, to verify students signing up to Deezer Student. With millions of students already signed up, verification through UNiDAYS simplifies the process across brands, including Deezer. Deezer Student is available to all university students, between 18 and 25 years old, in 30 countries.

Deezer Student members get all of the same benefits as Deezer Premium members, such as 90 million ad-free tracks, all in HiFi-quality, thousands of podcasts, personalized mixes and playlists, as well as original content. With downloads, you can even take your music offline.

New and existing customers can instantly verify their status through UNiDAYS Connect. Head to myunidays.com for more details and to sign up. To switch subscription types, you must first cancel your current subscription.

Almost all major streaming services such as Spotify, YouTube Music (via YouTube Premium) and TIDAL offer discounted memberships for students, with Apple Music and Amazon Music also going through UNiDAYS. As is the case with Deezer, generally these services are offered for half the price of regular subscription, or $4.99 per month rather than $9.99 per month. In the UK, Deezer Premium subscriptions are £11.99 per month, while Student plans are £5.99 per month. The first month is free, then renews automatically unless cancelled.

We are delighted to be partnering with Deezer to gate their student plan — optimizing conversion rate, and growing total program performance through demand gen, underpinned by consumer-permissioned data. The partnership will benefit our core audience, providing students with a compelling online experience and access to a unique benefit.

To be associated with a brand as closely connected to the student experience as UNiDAYS provides great advantages to our business and customer base. We have no doubt that this is a partnership that will drive both brands forward, introducing us both to new markets.
