Spotify teams up with DiDi to offer free Spotify Premium across Latin America
The new partnership gives DiDi users in nine Latin America countries up to four months of Spotify Premium- for free.
Spotify Premium, on the house
Spotify has joined forces with DiDi, an app for rides, food delivery, and financial services across Latin America. Together, they’re offering free Spotify Premium access to users in nine countries across the region.
Whether you’re heading to work, waiting on your lunch, or chilling at home, Spotify and DiDi are here to soundtrack every moment of your everyday tasks.
So, how does it work?
Kicking off on July 14, new DiDi users can get two months of Spotify Premium for free. Meanwhile, existing DiDi Club users can get four months of free Premium access.
The offer is available in Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Chile, Panama, and the Dominican Republic. However, the extended four-month benefit for DiDi Club users is only available in Mexico, Colombia, and Costa Rica.
There is one small catch. The offer is only available to Spotify users who haven’t previously tried Spotify Premium. On the plus side, the reward is available from 28 April 2025 to 16 June 2027 according to the terms and conditions.
A partnership for the people
This partnership is more than a perk. It reflects both companies’ commitment to enhancing everyday life. For Spotify, it’s about making great audio experiences more accessible. For Didi, it’s another way to reward their loyal user base and attract new ones by bolstering its already diverse app offerings.
“We believe that music and podcasts have the power to transform everyday moments into great ones… Whether enjoying a meal or a commute, we want to make every experience even more special.”
Jorge Ortiz, Director of Business Development and Distribution Alliances at Spotify in the Americas
