Following in the footsteps of their Frame TV, Samsung Music Frame disguises technology as art, this time speakers.

First introduced in 2017, with many iterations since, Samsung Frame TV is a 4K matte screen, which when displaying still images, looks like art. Similarly, the new Samsung Music Frame is a wireless smart speaker that looks like a simple picture frame. The Music Frame has borrowed notes from IKEA & Sonos’ SYMFONISK speaker/picture frame, but Samsung’s offering is customizable, letting you switch out the image for anything you like.

The Music Frame measures at 13.8 x 13.8 x 2.1 inches. The hole in the white matte frame insert is 8 x 8 inches. Music Frame comes with a black bezel, but this is swappable for a white one, which Samsung sells separately for $59.99. The Music Frame must be powered by a wall outlet, so take the power cable (and hiding it) into account when setting it up.

The Music Frame houses two 3-way speakers, which allows for Dolby Atmos support from a single Music Frame, providing sound from all around, with 3D spatial technology. SpaceFit Sound Pro analyzes the environment to calibrate the speaker for audio optimized to your unique space.

Samsung Music Frame can stream music via Bluetooth 5.2 or Wi-Fi. It supports Alexa, Google Assistant and Bixby for voice control, as well as Google Home, Chromecast and Apple AirPlay for easy casting. If you are using a compatible Samsung phone, you can also use Tap Sound. This makes streaming music as easy as tapping your phone to the Music Frame. You can also connect up to five Music Frames together for multi-room audio.

Hook Music Frame up to a TV for an attractive soundbar alternative. When connected to a 2024 Samsung TV, Music Frame support Q-Symphony, so the speakers are synchronized and work together to operate as one.

Adaptive Sound analyzes TV content in real time, intelligently optimizing audio based on what is showing. By enhancing what’s important, you won’t have to rewind to hear what was said over loud sound effects.
