GlastonburyQ Magazine is co-operating with the organisers of Glastonbury festival to stage the 6th annual Emerging Talent competition. Any artist or band can upload 2 tracks on their website: http://qthemusic.com. The deadline for uploading entries is Monday 26th Jan.  You will need to supply the following to enter: a short biography of your act and some contact details , one photo (max file size of 1MB), up to two tracks (MP3 with a max file size of 5MB). Each band can only enter once and can only submit two songs –  each entry will cost £11.95 [the entry fee is to be used to cover the competition running costs, and presumably to filter out the less motivated]. Those that make it through the screening process will be invited to audition in front of a panel of judges including Glastonbury’s Emily Eavis, Q editor Paul Rees and Radio One’s Huw Stephens at the Pilton working men’s club, and could go on to win a slot on the Pyramid or Other stage at next year’s festival.

Of course, if this launches you to stardom, we’d be very glad to do your online distribution
