Pandora AMP has packaged together its campaign tools and features as its brand-new Fan Campaigns suite.

Pandora AMP is a valuable suite of tools to help aritsts and creators market themselves and their music. Currently, it seems Pandora is giving this platform a revamp, making it even easier for artists to manage their presence on the platform. Fan Campaigns is the latest update, pulling together existing tools to make the creation of campaigns smoother than ever.

For artists looking to increase their exposure and reach more fans, Pandora AMP’s new Fan Campaigns is the ideal solution. Building campaigns takes time, and a busy independent artist typically doesn’t have a lot of that. Now, artists can take advantage of the existing campaign tools via new, streamlined creation flows, plus extra added improvements.

Previously, Pandora AMP provided campaign tools like Artist Audio Messages, Featured Tracks, Promote Single and Promote Show. These can all be accessed through Fan Campaigns, with new modular flows for quicker and easier creation.

Pandora has outlined the new features and updates as including:

  • Quick and simple campaign creation flows
  • New “Recommended” category for Featured Tracks
  • 365 day eligibility removed for Featured Tracks
  • Updated campaign performance pages
  • New sorting filters
  • Ability to download a CSV of your campaign’s performance data

Artists can select the type of campaign tool they’d like to start building with, or they can select a streamlined template to speed up the creation process.

A new addition to the Featured Track tool is a new Recommended category, which uses “technology” (presumably some sort of algorithm or AI) points artists towards tracks that Pandora predicts could be perfect tracks to be featured. Artists can pick a track even if it isn’t recommended and can feature it, provided it meets the spin requirements.

Tracks can now, for the first time ever, be Featured Tracks even if they are older than 365 days old. This means that artists are no longer restricted to picking new releases as Featured Tracks, and can spotlight catalogue tracks as well. Each artist profile will be limited to featuring 6 tracks per year, as was already the case.

More robust analytics are being made available, so that artists can track their campaigns in more detail. New campaign performance pages will provide insights, with the option of advanced sorting filters and the ability to download a CSV.
