nokia mixradio launches in china

Nokia is the first major western company to launch a streaming music service in China. Nokia launched MixRadio in China. Piracy in China is regarded as one of the highest in the world and more than 80% of internet users – 500 million people – access the net through a mobile device.

Nokia’s service will provide a legal alternative for free or a premium version for the equivalent of $3.99 a month. Available on smartphones in 31 countries, the service acts like an ad-free personalised radio station.
