Naim Mu-so Wireless Hi-Fi System
Naim have introduced the world to their new premium hi-fi system ‘Mu-so’. This sees the companies first wireless music system. It blends both top of the range speaker technology, with top of the range build quality.
Build quality is second to none, with a beautiful anodised aluminium skin and swappable coloured speaker grills from black, to vibrant red, deep blue and burnt orange. This system does away with awkward, fiddly, sluggish interfaces, with an elegant touch volume dial, giving you the absolute basic controls needed.
Six digital amplifiers, 450 watts of power and a digital processor, give you a wide range of detail from highs to rumbling bass.
This system plays nice with a range of audio, from MP3 to 24-bit/192kHz WAV, FLAC and AIFF files. Wi-fi is limited to 48kHz, but fit an ethernet cable in the back and you’re ready to go full high-res.
The wireless capabilities of this allow you to connect your smart phone or tablet with the dedicated app, along with, Apple AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth aptX, UPnP, Internet Radio, 3 auxiliary inputs, USB and Digital Input (Optical).
Style and performance put this above any system in its class, so what’s the catch. Cost. This thing will set you back a hefty £895, which is a lot of cash to throw at a wireless speaker system, but if money’s no object, this is the one for you.
