Deezer’s Q1 2023 results show a 6.5% growth in revenue year-over-year, but is the music streaming service struggling to retain subscribers?

Deezer recently posted its Q1 2023 report, showing revenue and subscriber numbers. Revenue was at €115.2 million at the end of March this year, representing growth of 6.5% year-over-year. France still provides Deezer with the biggest portion of users, with 60.9% of revenue coming from their homeland, up from 59.7% last year.

On the subscriber end, things weren’t so positive, with numbers falling 2.5% from 9.5 million to 9.3 million. That being said, B2C subscribers, individuals subscribed to Deezer Premium, grew from 5.5 million to 5.6 million, while B2B subscribers fell from 4 million to 3.6 million.
