Struggling to find the perfect playlist for the occasion? Don’t have time to sort through your library? Deezer are rolling out the ability to create playlists from a text prompt. Simply type out what you want to hear or choose one of the suggestions, be it a mood, genre, decade, activity or more, and using the power of AI, Deezer will create a playlist in seconds. Deezer gives the example “pop themed road trip playlist” in the image above.

Playlist with AI joins Deezer’s existing AI-powered feature Flow, which creates a mix based on your chosen mood or genre. Spotify launched a very similar AI Playlist feature in beta last April.
