Can I listen to Spotify Premium on more than one device at the same time?
While you can sign in to your Spotify Premium account on as many devices as you like, you can only listen on one device at a time.
Unfortunately you can only play music on Spotify Premium on one device at one. This is to stop multiple users sharing one account. You can sign in to your Spotify on as many devices as you like, however if music is played on another device, it’ll pause any other device currently playing. Up to 10,000 tracks can be downloaded for offline playback on five devices.
For family members under the same roof, Spotify Premium Family is a great option for up to six users for $14.99. Each user gets their own account, so personalized recommendations stay unique.
You should allow people to use the same spotify so both people can listen to it.
Agreed! Why are we paying for premium of we can not listen on 2 devices
That’s no fair!!
I have 1 Sonos speaker, a MacBookPro and a smart Samsung TV with Apple Music included. I can play Apple Music to all three and it sounds like a symphony. Spotify with my 9.99 contribution will only do a single one them. That’s bad. I have moved to Apple
If I am paying for Spotify Family, with up to 6 users, then I should be able to use some of these user accounts to allow multiple devices to play music at the same time from one of the family’s account. In other words, I want to be able keep music playing on speaker at home while I also listen to music at home.
As far as I can tell, the only way to do this now, would be to create a seperate account for the home speakers, but then there is no way to share your liked songs to that new account.
Frustrating. I just want to play music on one device for kids and be able to listen to my own music on a second device. Upgraded – ha – to a duo plan and it wants two different emails and Google maps verification!! WTF?!!?
Ridiculous.
