Apple Music for Artists is showing artists their plays on over 40,000 radio stations across the world, not just on Apple Music.
Apple Music are empowering artists to track their radio plays far beyond the reaches of the streaming service itself. Apple Music for Artists have just enhanced their ‘Radio Spins’ spot with stats for radio plays across the world.
Artists can now get analytics for how often their music is being played on over 40,000 radio stations around the world. Apple use Shazam to detect which songs are being played so that they can include those statistics in artists’ dashboards on Apple Music for Artists.
This transforms the platform with the significance of Radio Spins statistics. Radio plays will be broken down into metrics for which song is being played, the stations it is playing on and the location of the station.
All artists can access Apple Music for Artists for free to track their streaming performance on Apple Music, their Shazam performance, and now, global radio data as well.
