Amazon Music Unlimited is going up $1/month for Prime and Single Device Plan members

Music streaming service Amazon Music Unlimited is going up from $7.99 per month to $8.99 per month for Prime subscribers.
Amazon Music Unlimited provides the full music streaming experience, with unlimited, on-demand access to 90 million ad-free songs, plus HD and spatial audio, offline playback, and millions of podcast episodes.
Amazon Music Unlimited is free for the first month, then $7.99 per month (or $79 per year) for Prime subscribers. The price for Prime members is going up to $8.99 per month in the US. Non-Prime members will continue paying $9.99 per month and Family Plan members will continue paying $14.99 per month. Amazon Music Prime, with its limited catalog, is still free for Prime members. This price hike makes the saving only one dollar per month for Prime subscribers.

Amazon Music Unlimited’s Single Device Plan is also raising its price from $3.99 per month to $4.99 per month. The Single Device Plan gives subscribers unlimited access to the full calalog on a single eligible Echo or Fire TV device. Even with the price hike, much like Apple Music’s Voice Plan, the tier is a great option for those that want a cost-effective streaming service for their Amazon smart speaker or TV.
