Users can now easily share the music they love directly from Amazon Music to TikTok.

Amazon Music and TikTok’s latest feature

Amazon Music and TikTok have joined forces once again with a ‘Share to TikTok’ feature, giving fans an easy and fun way to share what they’re listening to.

The expanded partnership means that Amazon Music users can now post songs, albums, playlists and even Amazon Music Originals straight into TikTok. It makes sharing your favorite tracks and moments with your community easier than ever.

It doesn’t stop there either. Fans can also share their personalized Amazon Music Insights. That includes your Monthly Recaps of your top artists, songs, podcasts, total listening minutes, and even ‘Top Listener’ badges. These insights are then turned into shareable content for TikTok, transforming your listening habits into more of a social conversation.

A natural extension of their partnership

For both Amazon Music and TikTok, this latest feature builds on their existing partnership. At the back-end of 2023, TikTok started rolling out an ‘Add to Music App’ feature which lets users save songs they discover on TikTok directly to their preferred streaming service. That includes Amazon Music, but also Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, SoundCloud, Melon, and Anghami too.

Since its global rollout, the feature has generated over a billion track saves and many more streams, according to TikTok and Luminate.

When it comes to the new ‘Share to TikTok’ feature, Amazon Music is joining a more exclusive club of streaming services alongside Spotify and Apple Music.

“Music is the heartbeat of TikTok – it’s how people connect, express themselves, and discover something new every day. Partnering with Amazon Music to make sharing seamless means fans can bring their favourite music and personal listening moments to life on TikTok, inspiring even more creativity and music discovery across our community.”

What this means for artists

For artists, this is yet another route to discovery. Fans posting their favorite tracks (and showing off their listening habits) effectively just promotes your music. If someone sees their favorite creator listening to a specific song, chances are they’ll go check it out themselves. More shares mean more eyes, more listens, and hopefully more fans.

Features like this on TikTok make sense too. TikTok is known for breaking new artists, pushing older tracks back into the spotlight, and shaping the charts. Earlier this year, TikTok even rolled out its first major campaign focused solely on promoting the platform’s role in music discovery.

Wrapping up

Amazon Music and TikTok’s new ‘Share to TikTok’ feature gives artists another direct route into TikTok’s music discovery engine. It’s a reminder that social sharing features like these aren’t just fun add-ons. They help shape listening behavior, boost engagement, and influence how fans find their next favorite song.
