The Verge run down the new features and design of the 3rd generation AirPods from Apple announced last week.

Announced by Apple last week, the third generation AirPods are available to order online and in store today. The Verge go over the new design, improved sound, water and sweat resistance, battery improvements, spatial audio head tracking, and finding lost buds with the Find My app. These and more new features join existing AirPods features we’ve come to expect such as seamless integration with Apple devices.

The Verge conclude by talking about how the buds stack up against stiff competition, but noting they are a fantastic open-ear style earbud for Apple users, providing you don’t need active noise cancellation.
