Now with ANC and Bluetooth Multipoint, Jabra’s budget true wireless earbuds are the one of the best pairs around for under $100.

Announced last week, the Elite 4 are a cheaper alternative to the rest of Jabra’s line, such as last year’s Elite 4 Active. While keeping an almost identical, compact design to the Elite 3, they add a couple of handy, essential features.

First and foremost, active noise cancellation comes to the Elite 4s, allowing you to reduce unwanted ambient sounds, or enable HearThrough to allow sounds to passthrough.

The other new headline feature is Bluetooth 5.2 and Bluetooth Multipoint. This allows you to connect to two devices simultaneously, which makes switching between devices a breeze.

As with Elite 3, Elite 4 includes support for Fast Pair, for quick and easy connection to Android 6.0 or higher devices, as well as Spotify Tap on Android devices. Elite 4 includes support for Swift Pair too, which is a similar pop-up feature for Windows 10 or higher PCs.

Unchanged from Elite 3 are the 6mm drivers, 4 microphones for clear calls, IP55 rainproof rating and battery life with ANC turned off, which is 7 hours from the buds alone and 28 hours with the case. Switch ANC on and these numbers reduce to 5.5 hours and 22 hours respectively. Hook up the charging case for 10 minutes via USB-C for an hours of playback.

As on the Elite 3, these new buds feature a physical button on the Jabra logo, for controls such as play/pause, skip, answer/reject/hang up calls, volume, ANC mode, voice assistance/Spotify Tap. Voice assistance comes from Siri and Google Assistant.

The modern earbud user is looking for tech that’s ready for work and play at their fingertips, whilst not compromising on key features. The Elite 4 offers a solution to this and is the perfect all-rounder, designed to help users to concentrate, connect, and call without distractions, and is the ideal companion to balance work and life
