iZotope has introduced RX 10 and Ozone 10. Both new iinstallments have new intelligent features for intuitive audio repair and mastering.

The new updates for iZotope’s RX 10 & Ozone 10 offer users new tools with advanced intelligence.

Now, it’s easier than ever to achieve professional audio while personalizing your sound.

New features in RX 10

RX 10 is built on “decades of research”. While their RX software has long been an industry favorite audio clean-up toolkit, RX 10 is here to improve your post-production sessions.

Whether you’re analyzing audio production issues or seeking processing solutions, RX 10 will speed up your editing workflows and salvage poor audio.

For another matter, RX 10 also utilizes Text Navigation and has a new Multiple Speaker Detection tool!

  1. Repair Assistant Plugin (included in RX Elements, Standard, and Advanced)

    iZotope has rebuilt its Repair Assistant from the ground up.

    The Repair Assistant uses machine learning to recognize specific problems in your audio automatically. Then, it proposes fixes that you can modify to taste.
  2. Dynamic Adaptive Mode in De-Hum (included in Standard and Advanced)

    You can save time removing unwanted hums and buzzes in your audio with a new Adaptive mode that eliminates unwanted noise that can change the pitch of your audio such as electromagnetic interference – all automatically, and without sacrificing quality.
  3. Upgraded Spectral Recovery (Advanced only)

    A take recorded using a mobile phone or equipment that’s not professional recording gear can often sound thin.

    Spectral Recovery will add life in to these thin takes so they stand up with the rest of your audio. And the new version improves upon the quality of re-synthesized upper frequencies and can now add missing lower frequencies too!
  4.  Selection Feathering (included in Standard and Advanced)

    Selection Feathering allows you to make smoother edits. Now, the upgraded version works in the time and frequency domain.

What’s new in Ozone 10

Ozone 10 is here to aid professionals and those new to mastering with its refreshing new look and feel.

Ozone 10 has all that’s necessary to “bring balance” to your tracks. Or if you’re looking to add punch, warmth, grit, or you want to glue everything together… Ozone 10 has your back with its smart technologies.

  1. Stabilizer Module (Advanced only)

    Stabilizer Module is a new intelligent and adaptive mastering EQ that you can sculpt a balanced sound with.

    Shape your mix into a clear, natural tone, or tame problem resonance, carve away harshness, and smooth transients for better translation across listening environments.
  2. Impact Module (Advanced only)

    Impact Module allows you to control microdynamics and enhance the rhythm and feel of your tracks.

    It offers four sliders that operate across different frequency bands and allow you to add new life to your mix. Whether you add punch and dynamic space or glue your track together for a thicker sound, Impact Module allows you to do it all.
  3. Improved Master Assistant (Standard and Advanced)

    The beloved Master Assistant allows you to compare the sound of a reference file with the tone, dynamics, and width of your project.

    The updated Assistant View allows you to customize your starting point do so faster, while the Tonal Balance curve allows for easy metering too.
  4. Magnify Soft Clip (Standard and Advanced)

    Part of the Maximizer module, Magnify Soft Clip boosts loudness and maintains audio fidelity.  
  5.   Recover Sides (Standard and Advanced)

    Part of the Imager module, Recover Sides reduces the width of problem frequencies while maintaining the sides. As a result, it maintains stereo information in mono yet preserves depth and power when narrowing a problem frequency.
