Logic signs an exclusive seven figure deal with Twitch
After announcing his retirement from music, American rapper Logic has partnered with live video game streaming platform Twitch.
Sir Robert Bryson Hall II (aka Logic) recently announced he would be retiring from music after the release of his new album No Pressure due to release tomorrow (24th July). Following this announcement, news broke that Logic would be partnering exclusively with Twitch. The deal states Logic will stream a set number of hours weekly.
I’m not this rapper guy, man. I’m just a nerd. I love video games. I’m blessed enough to have millions of fans and followers. So it is a great partnership. I’m going to bring new eyes to their service, they’re going to bring new money to my bank account, and — I’m just kidding.

He continues to explain his dislike of social media and love of Twitch.
I’m not going to be on Twitch, having political debates. I’m going to be on Twitch, helping people after they’ve had a day of protesting or political debates, unwind and laugh and smile. And if you want to know how I feel about the world, you listen to my music.

This move marks Twitch’s first exclusive signing of a musician and it appears to have already brought new a audience to the platform. Despite yet going live, Logic has over 120k followers. Logic’s first stream is due for tonight (23rd July) 11PM EST.
