Every song used in Stranger Things Season 5 (so far)
A full breakdown of the soundtrack behind the final season of Stranger Things.
Since Stranger Things first hit screens in 2016, fans have loved the soundtracks that accompany each season. They’re nostalgic, they’re emotional, and often put the spotlight on fan-favorites from the 80s era that the show is set in. Just look at what happened with Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” which went viral and hit the charts in the summer of 2022 alongside Season 4. There’s no wonder the Official Stranger Things Playlist is now the third most saved soundtrack on Spotify.
Now, the fifth and final season is under way, and the music is once again front and center.
Here’s a breakdown of every song featured so far in the first four episodes which could just soundtrack the holiday season.
Episode 1: “The Crawl”
- The Clash – “Should I Stay or Should I Go” (sung by Young Will)
- Michael Jackson – “Rockin’ Robin”
- The Psychedelic Furs – “Pretty in Pink”
- Diana Ross – “Upside Down”
- Kate Bush – “Running Up That Hill (Deal With God)”
