My Deezer Year 2025 is here, letting you relive your year in music with a rom-com twist.

Deezer is back with its annual year-end listening recap, My Deezer Year. Much like the years that have come before, My Deezer Year 2025 provides a personalized look back at your favorite songs, artists, albums, and genres from across the year.

A rom-com focused recap

This year’s recap arrives with a romantic-comedy narrative, placing every user at the centre of their own musical love story. Its complete with a polished visual recap and breaks down your listening into three classic movie tropes:

The Meet Cute (Episode 1): A look back at the new artists you fell for in 2025.
Love Triangle (Episode 2): Your top three most-played artists.
Happily Ever After (Episode 3): Discover your year’s top tracks, tied together with a personalized playlist.

It’s fun and shareable, tapping into social trends that have made streaming recaps like Spotify’s Spotify Wrapped a cultural moment every December. Once again, Deezer is early this year. My Deezer Year 2025 lands ahead of Spotify Wrapped, Apple Music Replay, and Amazon Music Delivered.

The 2025 edition also nicely rounds off the My Deezer Month experience which Deezer introduced earlier this year. Mimicking the likes of Apple Music’s Replay, it provides monthly insights into user’s listening habits before tying them together at the end of the year.

A look at the stats

The numbers behind My Deezer Year reveal a few clear trends in user behavior. Deezer’s users “listened to 122.8 hours of music globally, with more than 691 songs from 402 artists, and discovered 357 new songs. Almost 12% of all Deezer subscribers are a superfan of one or more artists”. That’s an increase on all fronts when compared to last year’s findings.

My Deezer Year’s personalized quiz is back, letting users test their music compatibility with friends. While Deezer users could always create their own quizzes, Deezer has opened up the feature even further this year. Now, non-Deezer users can join in, meaning anyone can create and share their own quiz.

It’s a subtle difference that could help Deezer build reach beyond its own users, which could help attract more subscribers in the competitive streaming market.
