Tidal, Jay-Z’s hi-res music streaming service, launches in Jamaica
Yesterday Tidal became available in Jamaica, meaning anyone in Jamaica can now sign up for high resolution music streaming.
As part of the high profile artist owned Tidal’s expansion to six new countries Jamaica can now stream music from Tidal on their computers and mobile devices. With a Tidal account users can stream from over 40 million tracks and various video content like music videos and short films.
Tidal also offers unique experiences and offers like exclusive content, livestreams, tickets to concerts, and unique fan experiences. Every country has slightly different levels of music access, mainly the addition of local artists that may not be available in other countries.
Next in Tidal’s planned expansion are Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, and Peru.
