TikTok and iHeartMedia announce groundbreaking multi-platform partnership
TikTok and iHeartMedia are bringing creators to podcasts, radio, and live events through a groundbreaking multi-platform partnership.
TikTok and iHeartMedia have unveiled a groundbreaking multi-platform partnership that aims to transform how creators connect with audiences across podcasts, radio, and live events. The collaboration will see TikTok creators step beyond short-form video and into long-form storytelling, giving them new opportunities to build their personal brands and engage with fans in different ways.
Announced on 10 November 2025, the partnership merges TikTok’s creative community with iHeartMedia’s enormous audio network. Rich Bressler, President, COO and CFO of iHeartMedia, said: “This partnership connects TikTok’s cultural energy and creator community with the unmatched scale and reach of iHeartMedia. We’re giving creators access to the biggest audio platforms in America – creating new ways to tell stories, entertain, and build deeper connections with fans.”
TikTok Podcast Network
The first key element of the deal is the TikTok Podcast Network, a brand-new collection of up to 25 creator-hosted podcasts.
To make this happen, iHeartMedia will launch co-branded podcast studios in Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta. These state-of-the-art spaces will be fitted with professional audio and video production equipment, helping creators bridge the gap between visual and audio storytelling. The shows will be distributed by iHeartPodcasts and available on all major podcast platforms, while short clips and highlights will appear on TikTok itself.
TikTok Radio
Next up is TikTok Radio – a fast-paced national broadcast and digital channel pairing TikTok creators with experienced iHeartRadio personalities. The format aims to make listeners “feel like they are scrolling on TikTok, but with their ears.”
The station will play viral hits, trending music, and creator-led stories, featuring regular segments such as “Behind-the-Charts”, “New Music Fridays”, and “On The Verge.” Built on the music foundations of iHeart’s major stations like KIIS FM in Los Angeles and Z100 in New York, TikTok Radio will bring the energy of the app straight to the airwaves.
iHeartRadio Live Events
Beyond podcasts and radio, TikTok and iHeartMedia will collaborate on live event integrations, offering creators access to some of iHeart’s biggest stages – including the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball. This gives influencers and artists a chance to engage with fans in person, while offering brands fresh ways to connect with audiences through creator-led content.
Dan Page, TikTok’s Global Head of Media and Licensing Partnerships, said, “At TikTok, empowering creativity and connecting communities are at the heart of everything we do. This partnership with iHeartMedia opens up exciting new opportunities for creators and brands to reach wider audiences, collaborate across platforms and extend their creativity beyond the TikTok platform.”
Building on earlier success
This new phase builds on the companies’ earlier collaboration, Next Up: Live Music – a live singing competition streamed exclusively on TikTok. The show, which crowned @kiralise as its first winner, proved how creator-driven live content can drive engagement and discovery for emerging artists.
Now, TikTok and iHeartMedia plan to expand that success by combining their marketing, sales, and creative expertise to promote this new wave of creator-driven shows. Both companies are also exploring sponsorship opportunities and new revenue streams that benefit creators directly.
With new podcasts, radio programming, and live events in the works, this partnership marks an exciting evolution in how creators share their voices. It signals a growing crossover between digital creators and traditional media – and it could redefine how audiences experience audio entertainment.
