The final day of The Great Estate Festival 2025 at Scorrier Estate delivered a vibrant and diverse musical showcase, bringing together electronic pioneers, world music, local talent, and genre-bending performers.

Sunday’s lineup reflected the festival’s commitment to variety and discovery, ensuring a memorable close to the weekend for music lovers of all ages.

Electronic icons Leftfield to headline on Sunday night

The crowning act of Sunday—and the entire festival—was Leftfield, one of the UK’s most influential electronic groups. Celebrating their 35th anniversary, Leftfield took to the Stage On The Green with a set that spanned their groundbreaking career, including tracks from their seminal debut album Leftism. Their performance, renowned for its immersive soundscapes and genre-defining grooves, captivated the crowd and reaffirmed Leftfield’s status as a defining live act in British dance music. The audience was treated to classics like “Open Up,” “Release the Pressure,” and “Afro-Left,” each delivered with the energy and innovation that has kept Leftfield at the forefront of electronic music for decades.

From gospel to folk and beyond, the final part of the festival brings a day of musical diversity:

Sunday’s program was packed with a wide array of acts, each bringing a unique flavor to the festival’s closing day. Love Deluxx and Colour offered fresh sounds, while Hedluv & Passman brought their quirky, electronic-infused Cornish rap to the stage. Gasper Nali, a Malawian one-man-band, wowed the audience with his homemade instruments and infectious rhythms, demonstrating the festival’s global reach.

The Falmouth Gospel Choir filled the estate with uplifting harmonies, providing a soulful interlude that had festivalgoers singing along. Folk and acoustic fans were treated to performances by Winter Mountain and Ruarri Joseph, whose heartfelt songwriting and melodic sensibilities resonated with listeners seeking a more intimate experience.

Local and emerging talent shining on all stages

The Great Estate Festival has always championed local talent, and Sunday was no exception. Artists like James Shead, Will Eason, Joe Hurworth, and Daisy Mae showcased Cornwall’s vibrant music scene with sets that ranged from acoustic storytelling to indie pop. The Swamp Stomp String Band and The Busketeers injected Americana and bluegrass energy into the afternoon, while Blonk 182—a playful tribute act—added a dose of humour and nostalgia.

Other notable acts included Big Fish Little Fish, a family rave experience that had both kids and adults dancing, and Dalooj, Krelys, The Red Apple Honeys, Kitty Crocker, Sea Strings, Alex Govier, Jeanne Naylor, Matilda Finn Frances, Laura & The Jazz Capsule, Talen Jacks, and Cat Florence, each contributing to the day’s rich tapestry of sound.

A fitting finale for The Great Estate Festival
