Spotify have teamed up with Indonesia’s biggest wireless network provider to offer unlimited, ad-free streaming to customers old and new.

Telkomsel customers who are signed up through KartuHalo Telkomsel now have the option to sign up to 3 months of Spotify Premium for free. The deal comes as a partnership between the music streaming service and Indonesia’s biggest wireless network provider and is offered to existing customers as well as new sign ups.

Spotify’s Managing Director of Southeast Asia, Gautam Talwar said: “At Spotify, we believe all audio fans should have control of their listening experience and easy access to their favourite music and podcasts wherever they are.

“Through this partnership with Indonesia’s biggest mobile operator, we can enable millions of Indonesians nationwide who don’t use credit cards to sign up for a three-month trial of Spotify Premium.”

The deal includes a free Premium subscription for 3 months as well as unlimited data streaming at no extra cost. This enables listeners to stream music on the go at no extra charge to their data plan, as part of an existing partnership between Spotify and Telkomsel formed in 2019.

Once the trial is over, Telkomsel customers can continue using Spotify Premium for 53,459 IDR a month which can be charged through their Telkomsel plan.
