Every song used in Stranger Things Season 5
A full breakdown of the soundtrack behind the final season of Stranger Things.
Since Stranger Things first hit screens in 2016, fans have loved the soundtracks that accompany each season. They’re nostalgic, they’re emotional, and often put the spotlight on fan-favorites from the 80s era that the show is set in. Just look at what happened with Kate Bush’s “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” which went viral and hit the charts in the summer of 2022 alongside Season 4. There’s no wonder the Official Stranger Things Playlist is now the third most saved soundtrack on Spotify.
Now, the fifth and final season has wrapped, and the music was once again front and center of the show’s most definitive moments.
The series finale alone featured a number of iconic needle-drops, including tracks from Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, and even Prince- an artist who was, and still is thanks to his estate, notoriously known for not licensing his music.
Here’s a look at every song featured in the final season.
