“Recall” is the newest release from CONECTD, featuring South Korean hip hop and R&B artist Bryn and the Panama-born internationally acclaimed DJ/Producer Gian Varela, dropping on Friday 7th April.

Showing proof of his unconventional yet thrilling way of fusing sounds and genres, Gian Varela has created a house hit that is perfectly paired with Bryn’s characteristically cool R&B vocals. The unlikely duo, stemming from two different corners of the world, have come together through Seoul-based label CONECTD, blending their respective sounds on their collaboration track “Recall” – a song about trying to recall your past relationship, while realizing that you don’t have enough feelings or regrets left to remember it anymore.

Bryn, who has quickly grown to be known as a force to be reckoned with on the South Korean hip hop and R&B scene, made her debut in 2018 with the single “HAZY CITY”. In the following year she made it to the Top 8 on the popular Korean hip hop TV show “Show Me The Money”, and has since then steadily gained recognition through programs such as “Hip-Hop Girl Z’ and “Annual Salary Negotiation”, as well as through her releases in the “MOTH” album series.

Internationally acclaimed DJ/Producer and songwriter Gian Varela was born in Panama, the birthplace of reggaeton, and shaped in the USA. Drawing inspiration from his dual background Varela has cultivated his own genre fusing sound spanning from the best of sexy Spanish house to Latin urban pop. Throughout his career he has become known for his viral collaborations with Latin superstars like Laidback Luke, Sech, Feid, & El Chombo, as well as his releases on some of the world’s most renowned dance music labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Armada Music, Mixmash Records and Revealed Recordings.
