A new partnership sees iHeartMedia’s top podcasts added to Netflix, as the video podcast format continues to expand.

Podcasts have been an explosive format over the last couple of decades, and now video podcasts are having their moment. Netflix and iHeartMedia have partnered to bring top iHeartPodcasts to the video streaming giant for viewers in the US to enjoy.

The exclusive partnership was announced yesterday (16th December), and includes highly popular podcasts like “The Breakfast Club” and “My Favourite Murder”. There will be over 15 top-performing podcasts included in the deal, with all new episodes as well as selected library episodes from each podcast covered.

Commenting on the partnership, Bob Pittman, CEO of iHeartMedia said, “Audio podcasting has been the fastest-growing medium over the past 20 years, and now we’re thrilled to expand that experience with an exciting new category: video podcasts.”

The titles coming to Netflix are some big hitters. “The Breakfast Club” is one of the biggest broadcast radio shows in the US, co-hosted by Charlamagne Tha God. “My Favourite Murder” is also one of the most successful true crime podcasts, plus we have Grammy-nominated music stars Fat Joe and Jadakiss on “Joe and Jada,” “Dear Chelsea” with Chelsea Handler and “This Is Important” with “Workaholics” stars Adam Devine, Anders Holm and Blake Anderson. Award-winning Radio & TV personality Bobby Bones’ “Bobby Bones Presents: The Bobbycast” also features on the list of video podcasts.as well as “category-defining” series “The Psychology of Your 20s.”

As Digital Music News notes, this partnership come shortly after Netflix teamed up with Spotify to bring their video podcasts to more screens in the US. Just like the Spotify/Netflix deal, iHeartMedia’s top podcasts will be available in the US from early 2026, with firm dates yet to be confirmed. From then, iHeartMedia video podcasts on Netflix will become available in more markets.

iHeartMedia will retain the distribution and audio-only rights to all the shows included in the deal. Each podcast will remain available for listening on iHeartRadio, as well as everywhere else you can find podcasts.
