Start by signing up for a free account at licensing.routenote.com. Although part of the RouteNote family, you’ll need to create a separate account, unless you previously had a SynchedIn account. Once you sign in, you’ll immediately be greeted by collections. If you see something you like, dive right on in. If you’re looking for something more specific, use the search bar at the top. If you’d rather browse for that perfect sound, use the Music, Sound Effects, or Collections links in the top bar.

Browse

Use the filters on the left panel to narrow down your search. You can preview tracks and scrub through to quickly check if it’s the thing you’re after. There are three options beside each track. You can download the track right away, add it to a collections, or share it with a friend. Collections are a great way to build a playlist of tunes under a specific genre or mood, so you can quickly find them later. You can even share collections for the whole RouteNote Licensing community. Once you’ve found the track for you, hit the download button.

Subscriptions are the most affordable in the industry. You can browse, create collections and download a selection of tracks for free. For sound effects, it’s $3.99 per month or $39.99 per year. For music, it’s $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year.
