Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri answers a popular question in a new Reel: “How often should you post on Instagram?”

In the video below, Mosseri starts by explaining there’s no one solution that suits all creators, pointing to successful users that post one thing a month and others who post five Reels a day.

According to Adam Mosseri, posting often helps with reach. In general, the more you post, the more reach you’ll achieve. That being said, be aware of creator burn out.

The head of Instagram suggests coming up with a schedule that feels sustainable to you. Develop a pattern so it’s easy to come up with new content if you’re experiencing writer’s block. For example, RouteNote posts about all of the amazing new music submitted to us every Friday, as well as several recurring monthly posts.
