French music streaming service Deezer has published their first quarter 2025 earnings, showing revenue, subscriber and more numbers.

Deezer has reported their earnings for Q1 2025. You can find a full breakdown of their results here. Spotify also recently revealed their Q1 2025 results, which you can find here.

First up is revenue, which hit €134 million in the quarter, up 1.1% compared to Q1 2024. France saw a 4.5% revenue increase, while the rest of world saw a 3.4% decrease. Revenue can be broken up into Direct – €86.6 million (+0.6%), Partnerships – €39.2 million (-9.4%), and Other – €8.3 million (+155.0%).

Over on subscriptions, Deezer reported 9.4 million paying subscribers, which is down 5.4% year-over-year. This is made up of 3.5 million Direct subscribers in France (+6.3%), 1.5 million Direct subscribers in the rest of world (-2.1%), and 4.1 million Partnerships subscribers (-14.6%). Deezer explains these decreases as “reflecting the expected impact of conversion of MeLi+ promo cohorts to premium with higher ARPU & margins.”

As previously announced, we are fully focused on executing our new strategic direction, introducing bold and innovative music experiences designed to create long lasting value for fans, artists and our partners. New features are already live, with intuitive personalization and universal sharing, setting the tone for what we continue to build — a next level music experience based on the expectations of music fans of today and tomorrow. With confidence, we confirm our 2025 guidance and our objective of reaching profitability this year.
